Hey Sean, or anyone else that has any experience with this. I have had my ad reviewed twice now and both times disapproved for the same reason-destination mismatch. I have reviewed my display and destination URL and they are the same. I’m unclear as to why I am getting this result. Can anybody take a look and or let me know what you think> the ad link is: https://youtu.be/ocGuO1vvyn4
also below is a link to the screenshot of the Google Ads page showing the disapprovalSean BagheriParticipantJanuary 30, 2020 at 2:00 pmPost count: 127
Is it a discovery ad or in stream? Also try using a short link and see how it works.Patrick KaneParticipantJanuary 30, 2020 at 2:00 pmPost count: 5
it is instream (I believe that was the only option based on what I chose when I set up campaign) (there are some differences compared to your video in terms of the Ads layout and I don’t get to revert to the prior version as you showed in some of your vids)
You don’t think it is because I’m using your video do you? that doesn’t seem like it would result in a destination mismatch, but who the heck knows since they really don’t give you any specific data. I really wanted to start YT ads, but may have to go organic YT to start and try another ad medium.
and as far as short link, I would do that, I use clickmagik, but when I read the possible reasons for why you would get a “destination mismatch”, one of the reasons was to have a different display url than your destination url, so I made those the same to see if that is the reason…so far it has not helped.
anyway I want to figure this out, but in the mean time I’m going to attempt Bing ads to the same landing page offering your 4 video training…I’ll let you know how that goes.
If you can think of anything else or feel there is anything I need to change, let me know. Also, in reading the adword rules, it appears that I may have to wait 30 days to have reconsidered a 3rd time if I have submitted 2 times for reconsideration.Charlie BarksParticipantJanuary 30, 2020 at 2:01 pmPost count: 1
that is interesting, I have had the same issue with getting ads approved when using a Clickmagic shortlink.Sean BagheriParticipantJanuary 30, 2020 at 2:02 pmPost count: 127
You can also use a subdomain as your short link in Clickmagic or clickmeter.Patrick KaneParticipantJanuary 30, 2020 at 2:02 pmPost count: 5
Yeah I have my clickmagick acct. linked to the back end of my website, which you must do apparently to run
clickmagick links on Facebook. So my links look like: http://go.acceleratedimincome.com/yt xx for instance
so my domain is in the Link= custom tracking link
Not sure if that is exactly what you meant by subdomain, but I think it is.
