    Hi Guys,

I am about to run a solo ad compaign to collect some leads,

However, I don’t know if I should go for single or double optins?!

To be honst, I think that double optin is better, because people that will recieve the trafic are already educated about the fact that they should confirm their email address,

    But I don’t know,

    Is this the best option?

Always double! You’ll get fewer leads but it’ll worth it.

It depends on your funnel and your end goal. I would say double opt-in is a better long term play

One of my neat tricks was to tell people that “this video or ebook will be sent to your email” on the opt-in page, so they think they will have to verify their email but just use a single step opt-in without verification and send them directly to training after.

    That’s genius

Good points, I think single opt is better if your objective is to just collect some decent leads and show them something (vid or ebook)

in my experience leads generated through solo ads are not as responsive as other sources mainly because they are getting dozens of emails from other marketers in the same niche, so get them to see the final content as fast as possible.
